rawings, a 2012 SolidWorks viewer but can't get it to open a STEP file. My computer has Windows 7, Home version. I only want to view & print drawings. Any advice?

I don't believe STEP files are supported in eDrawings. You would have to open them in SolidWorks.
Is there a free viewer that I can download to view STEP files? I don't create any drawings, I only need to view them for quotation purposes.
I haven't tried this one, but it is supposed to be quite good ... and the price is right.

There is one called "STPViewer" from www.stpviewer.com that is free and I have used a couple of times although not terribly extensively.
