I'm in need of a little assistance... I'm still fairly new to Enterprise PDM but have been working with it ona daily basis and am making progress...
Anyway, I have a file card that I would like people to make a list of part numbers ,and then be able to store that list of part numbers into the PDM via a list or variable of some sort.
I know you can create predefine lists within the Admin tool for use on cards, but how can this be done from a "client" system when editing file card data?
I really need this list (with varying contents) to exist for each individual file of a particular extension in the vault. What we are doing is wanting to make a list of parts to be changed as part of an Engineering Change Order system, when a list of parts for a specific Engineering Change Request (ECR) can be specified in the ECO for each ECR that is created. The ECR data will be stored in an Excel spreadsheet (a separate spreadsheet file per ECR).
Any suggestions or ideas?
