Hi Guys, can you please have a look at the pic (attached), im trying to simulate using advanve mates, i can open the mould using control distance mates only on one direction but i can't move the latches which are outside the mould the other direction at the very same time. please have a look at the pic, may be you will understand my problem. Your help will be highly apreciated. Thanks in advance.
Hi Isaac. There is not enough information in your snap shot for me to help you. However this morning I started doing an animation. I'm using mates which I suppress and unsuppress at different times. Causing the motion you see in the avi attached.

You could also use your distance mates to cause movement. This is done by changing the distance value in the keys at the various intervals. See jpeg's above.

I see. If the path mate is working when you drag the moving half the solution is easy. Use distance and coincident mates. Unfortunately I don't know how your plates are suppose to separate because I don't know what your moulding. Hopefully this recreation helps.
