eDrawings and VB6

What's the proper way to release an eDrawing thru VB? I've built eDrawings into a VB program. Sometimes we're running into a problem when one user has a part open (in eDrawings) or has already closed it and another user tries to open it (also in eDrawings), they get the "open in read only...yes/no" message. Is there a way around this or to automatically select the read only option thru code?
