HI All

I am new to solidworks ( we are use 2011 sp 3, straight out of box ), with little to nil training ( don't ask why ), but have been using 3d cad for 12 years. I would like to setup the sheet metal side of solidworks to suit our business,

I have asked some people at other sites within the business, but they don't know. as sheet metal is not their main work.

Our work is about 95% thin sheet metal 0.5 to 1 mm... Would like setup it up so it automaticly goes to bend allowance at 90 deg, at 0.8mm inside radius ( our std )  and the developed length is 1.6mm.  how can i do this, for different thickness materials,  I am happy to let it use K factor for non 90 deg bends

Many Thanks

Don

Also are there shortcuts in 2d sketch mode, as it seam a lot more convoluted than what I have been using, or lack of understanding with a lack of raining issue ?
