Hi all,
I have a basic imported sheet metal part i wish to edit slightly. Theres an edge with a bend in, i simply wish to bend it a bit more on each side, but the flex feature was just flexing the entire part?!

Use Insert Bends to convert it to a sheet metal part.
Which bend to you wish to add a bit more angle to? Post a screen shot and then we can give you some ideas on how to go about it.

Did you realise that by using the Scale feature, you have also scaled (decreased) the thickness?
It might be better to use the Insert Bends tool (per Anna's suggestion), and then trim the part between a Unfold & Fold pair of features.
Convert to sheet metal parts. Open to unfold the sheet metal part. Save as Step back extension. You want to bend over.
