Why not just do a Mid Plane Base Flange Extrude?
If you want to use Mirror you need to Select the Body in the Cut List or Body folder in the feature tree.

What I want to do is mirror the right side of part to make into U shape, not extending the part by using MID PLANE option.

This would be great if there is no feature on the part. However, what if there is a hole on one of the flanges?

Your bend allowance needs a bit of attention, use something other than 10.0"

I agree. With such a simple part there is no real point in trying to mirror it as a feature. If you did want to do it as a feature, do a thin extrude, mirror, the convert to sheetmetal. SW2012 will mirror sheetmetal but can't recall if 2010 will.
