I have a need to insert an arrow into a line of text in a custom table.
Is there a way to insert an symbol that is not listed in the symbol library or to add to the SW symbol library?
What is the style of the arrow? and what does it look like?
Is there no arrow head style that is close?
What about GDT symbology?
Attached should be a .jpg image file of what I am looking to achive.
Actually, the left pointing arrow could be any style as long as it is an arrow pointing left.
Can I assume that doing a regular leader arrow with text is not an option?
Have you considered using ALT codes?
I tried typing in ALT+127, a code I found on the web and it did not have any effect.
Not sure if my syntaxt was correct.
I use alt codes frequently so I did not check ALT+27 until now. It does not add to solidworks like ALT+0216 (diameter symbol) does. To work around this try: open Word, ALT+27, then cut and past the arrow into the solidworks note. You might need to adjust the font size for that one character to get it to look right. Let me know if that does not get you there
