I have not found a way, but I am pretty new to SW...Is it possible to retain the animation of an animated assembly when inserted into a separate, animated assembly?
I followed those steps, but the mates were not retained. On top of that, I have numerous rebuild errors that were not present in the original assembly.
My end goal is to have a complete chain for presentation purposes (the spacers will be hidden). I would like to continue adding to the single chain in Test 07, but if I insert any more components (or mate said components), the chain does not complete its revolution. Then, I tried to merge two of the same assemblies, as I figured it would cut my construction time in half.
