You should probably post this in the Sheet Metal forum.
One work-around is to make your part as a square sheet metal part, then add fillets to the four corners at the end to make it round. Add the fillets in a different configuration, then the flat pattern can show the base configuration and the other views in the drawing can show the filleted configuration.

You cant really do that as you can with sheet metal. One of the rules for sheet metal parts is that they need to have a uniform thickness.
There are some basic workarounds though.

Switch configurations to see the flat and bent version.
I have just used an equation that links the path for the sweep between the flat and bent versions. So if you update the sketch in the bent part it carries through to the flat one.
