How do you get the weldment cutlist to add a line for sheetmetal components created in the weldment. I have a structural steel frame and added some sheet metal components to it using a surface extrude and trim and then converted them to sheetmetal. They show in the cutlist in the feature tree but don't show up in the cutlist when I add it to a drawing. (I have clicked update)

The items appear in the feature tree under cutlist as "convert-solid1" and the flat patterns are also showing in the feature tree.
I have attached the part.

Brian, it appears that the process of creating the surfaces first is the issue. I suppressed the first surface that you created, then reused its sketch to create the sheet metal feature using the base flange option. Once I used that, I updated the cut list folder and it works.
Thanks for the help. I can't do it in that sequence as this is a jig that must exactly match another part with lofted bends so I sketched the surfaces oversized and then did a surface trim to the other part. If I create a baseflange first, I don't think there is any way I can trim to the other part is there?
For non-weldment bodies you may need to rmb on the bodie in the cutlist at the top of the feature tree, go to properties and add extra fields such as desciption and material as they're not weldments solidworks may not have populated these fields leaving you with a blank line in a cutlist in the drawing sheet.

As long as the sheet metal parts were definitely converted, it should show up after hitting the update button. If they were converted, the new Sheet Metal feature as well as Flat Pattern feature would show up in the feature tree. Double check it there first, then check under the Cut List folder to make sure the body shows up. If these look fine, could you post the model?
