ok thank you,
ive looked at scaling each part - just wondered if i could do the whole lot together.

Andy, Nate is correct. I have worked on assemblies where each part has been scaled down. It works great for what you
might be wanting to do, but is a pain when you have to rely on the dimensions or make some changes. At least I found it to be a pain.
Try these macro to scale up/down the parts:
The ModelRescaler macro from http://www.lennyworks.com
Or
Mass Alter Dimensions from http://www.angelsix.com/cms/products/solidworks-macros
You can set them to work in batches too.
Hey guys,
I tried to use lennyworks rescale macro to rescale for example the water droplet that can be found here: https://forum.solidworks.com/thread/42935
Although when I measure for example the distance from the top to the bottom of the droplet in the scetch, before and after the use of the the macro, it remains unchanged.. Did someone might figure what I've done wrong?
Great thanks for any help
T
This is not directly possible. You can save the assembly out as a part then scale that, or you can open each part from the assembly and scale those. It comes down to the fact that you can only scale part files.
