Hello experts and gurus,
In an assy, I sketched a spline (in my part) that outlines the geometry I want to create in the part. I want to visually reference this profile to define my base (first) feature in the part. I want to create my first feature using tangent arcs, so the spline will be just for visual reference. I don't want to snap to the spline, but turning off snapping all together is a pain. Can I somehow tell SWX to just ignore the existing sketch of the spline? I like when the sketch snaps to existing datums and itself...
Thanks a lot!

Welcome to SolidWorks forums Nate.
Press Ctrl while you're doing the sketch and during that time, snapping will not work or in other words no sketch relation will be made.
