Has anyone come across this?
The first image is a snap shot of a drawing done in Solidworks (2012 sp1.0)
The second image is a snap shot of the same drawing created in Solidworks BUT printed in eDrawings.
Spot the difference.
WHY? WHY? WHY?
Why? ... I don't know.
You need to create a Display State for the smaller view and Hide the required components under that state. In the drawing view specify which Display State is to be used.
The projected image on the right hand side does have hidden components. The problem is that they re-appear when the drawing is created in eDrawings.
Whether a display state is used, I belive the problem will still be created.
In the end, good old fashioned PDF format did the trick. Sometimes I wonder if creating the document using eDrawing is all worth it?
Needed to find out if others have had the same experience.
Does eDrawings say the file needs to be rebuilt? Sometimes the display data that is used by eDrawings (or Solidworks in Quickview mode) can become outdated.
