Can EPDM handle MS OneNote files?

Electronic Notebooks are becoming very very useful these days. Personally, I use Evernote, a cloud hosted service but at work, I've been using OneNote.

OneNote is different from other MS Office documents in that it allows simultaneous collaboration. When I change the document, others who have it open see the changes within 2-5 seconds. Changes are saved automatically and anyone from any computer who has access can make a change at anytime.

Can EPDM handle this type of file? If only one person can check out (i.e. make changes) at a time, it pretty much defeats the purpose. It would be nice to have all product data in one place, but I'm not sure if ePDM is appropriate.

Any ideas?
