This ia a SolidWorks error, not an EPDM error.
I believe when a part file is created it has a unique number assigned to it internally. As I understand it this number and the file name are how Solidworks identifies each file. If I had to guess you (or someone working with you) recreated the part from scratch thus giving it a new internal ID number. If you say “yes” to the dialog box it will try to load the new file into the assembly. Give it a shot and see if it works. If it does not then just exit without saving.
I got our EPDM adminstrator to do the undo check-out.
We were then able to locate the correct files when we open the assembly again.
Not sure why we got the error in the first place.
