I wanna remove Resource Monitor. SW crashes even though RM is green, so it's not useful. I have found no way to do this in the forum, so I wanna delete sldprocmon.exe, which is the associated file. Does anyone know whether this will have implications on SW in general?
Good advice, thanks. SW seems to work perfectly without the manager.
Didn't work after all. SW prompts to reinstall on document load. Renamed the file back to its initial name, and SW got back on track. This means that the Resource Monitor has resurrected.
Try stopping the services from control panel and set the process to manual start.

See the thread "Solidworks Resource Monitor" in the "More Like This" box to the right. It tells you how to disable the Resource Monitor.
Too bad it doesn't seem to do what it is advertized to do.

Instead of deleting it, just rename it and check if SolidWorks is running fine. So in case you need it again, rename it back.
