Hi All,
We have recenty started using routing at our company, and after doing a fair bit of routing in assemblies, I now want to create drawings c/w BOM's containing cut lengths for these route assemblies.
I created a routing BOM template from the default BOM template by adding a column, selecting route property, then SWPipeLength. The problem here is that it is displaying all the different pipes as seperate items, regardless if they are exactly the same cut length. I would like it to display all the sections that are the same length as the same item. Can this be done?
Regards
Greg
Short answer, I don't think so.
The point being that each pipe element is a distinct and seperate element.
Only in 2012 was the possibility added to have piping (or tubing) of the same Ø and sch. grouped in one BOM line.
Don't forget that even when you start by manually editing lines, hiding lines and so forth to make the BOM look as it should that as soon as you do anything that changes a pipe length somewhere that that particular pipe will have created a new line in the BOM.
