I was renaming subassemlies within an assembly in  solidworks file explorer and i accidentally destroyed the file extension, so that the file appears in solidworks file explorer as unknown file, but when i right click to hit rename again, it wont rename back! its all greyed out. I can simply rename the file outside of file explorer to make it wokr again, but then its not recgonised in the assembly and i loose all my mates and assembley related edits. etc etc. is there a way to undo this?
