Try going to your DWG save-as settings and in the upper RH corner tell it to use TrueType fonts.
Best Text to DXF featured with a couple of single line fonts and True Type fonts outline. You can create G-Code and view a backplot of the created G-Code on the screen. With the single line vector fonts, you can not only render the outline of True Type fonts but also the mid line of each characters.
Just as a suggestion you might want to look into downloading the draftsight program from Solidworks.
This is a free program that has a lot of the same functionality that Autocad does and since it is made by
SW it might be more compatible for what you are looking to try and do.
I'm experiencing the same problem here and haven't figured out yet.
Check out the space between the dimension text and the text position with the angular dimensions.
You could modify the dimensionstyle in AutoCad and, in my case, mark the text position as ISO standard.
This is not what i prefer though.
does this setting do the trick for you? Would like to know, did not change a bit on my export.
