Trying to make a mold for this part, I created the parting lines and surface but then attempt to do the tooling split and it gives me this error, can anyone help with how to fix it? I am not exactly sure what it means.

Hard to tell what your problem is when all you uploaded is a step file of the part. We cannot look at your split surfaces and find the problem. I can tell you that the part is completely lacking draft. As a result, you have Zero Degree by-pass shut-offs and parting line jogs...which will never work. All by-pass shut-offs and parting line jogs must have at least 3 degrees draft, 5 degrees minimum is preferred. All part surfaces must have at least a little draft for molding.
Doug's rules are a very good starting place for a design. But, like all rules for plastic part design, they can sometimes be violated without insurmountable difficulties. On tall by-pass shut-offs and parting line jogs you can get away with less draft. We've gotten away with 1 degree on balanced 1.4" tall shut-offs. The molds don't have to run a lot of parts, measured in tens of thousands, not millions, and we haven't actually seen more than prototype quantities yet, but so far, so good.

Did you mutal trim the where sections join. you need to make the part hollow before knit to form solid. you also should also radius the edges.
