I'm searching RAL palette (sldclr file, or p2m) for Solidworks.
Can anybody help?
The program which paints part (only) according to the RAL catalog, itself once did.
How it works.
When I start this program I have only messaga "For parts only!".
"For parts only!".
It means it is necessary to open a part before use.
I thought that it is exact for all clearly.
The program work? That you were looking for?
I'm looking for palette (*.sldclr file).
Well as want, in the created solidworks palette names of RAL colors aren't displayed.
something like this? SW has a 5×8 limit for color swatches. You could install many swatches to fit but it may slow things down some, not sure.
The problem is that there is no easy and correct conversion of swatches within 'color' programs, like Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator. There are proper color swatches like Pantone's paper swatches and RAL swatches will reference what they(Pantone, RAL...) say is the correct RGB, CMYK color.
Also, the gamut (amount or range) of many colors wil not print or display well because they are designed for painting, powdercoating, etc. Ex: a neon green that is bright when painting will not print proper. You will still need to adjust any colors in SW to align with what a client wants to match. Get print samples to match object samples, always.
We don't have RAL samples installed, as RAL didn't embed in Adobe software. I see if I can figure something out for you, if this is what you need. Let me know.
or install some P2M Demos
I only had a sample Indesign swatchbook (.ase file) so I cannot create all colors. Sorry.
Open PDF to find correct color swatch.
updated: with working sldclr
