Can anybody explain this?  I selected a background image, which shows in the modeling environment just fine.  I open the render preview, and it shows there just fine as well.  I then go and select a final render, and the background shows up in all it's glorious color there as well.  With anticipation of seeing a truly great image that my customer will be blown away with, and imagine my disappointment when I find the model rendered, but floating a sea of nothingness!  No background at all.  Please look at the attached screenshots for a clear description of this problem.  I've tried several different settings, but with no change in results.  Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
