    Pro/e Wildfire 2.0 import

We find that simple surface topology parts import fine into SW2006, however, if the Pro/E file was developed using ISDX, or a lot of other surfacing techniques, the file only comes in as thousands of surfaces and will die upon trying to knit it all together to become one surface.
We work a lot with/for a company that uses Only Pro/e, is there a best practices thought on importing the Pro/E files, or even exporting SW files for thier input to Pro/E? I guess I am looking for available setup options so that the files are read better during input. Obviously the best way is to NOT do imports since there are so many things that can go wrong with the import that the part may not be as the intended design after import.
      Thanks all y'all :<D
