Hi,

I was wondering if you can change the parameters of a gear after it is already made? For example, I make a spur gear by creating a new assembly and inserting a spur gear from the toolbox into the assembly. It then prompts me to "Configure Component" by entering in the module, number of teeth, pressure angle and so on. After entering in the information, I can then create the spur gear desired. I save it as "Spur Gear 1" for example. But say I change the geometry of my assembly that my Spur Gear 1 is being used in and need to change Spur Gear 1 so it will fit. Is there a way to somehow change the parameters I initially entered to create "Spur Gear 1" by modifying the existing gear assembly? Or must I create a new gear?

Thanks,

Jim
