Is there any way I can reduce the size of a view boundary box?
See attached word doc for screen shot.
Mark (SolidWorks 2012 sp2)
I mean hiding the part/assembly sketches/reference geometries at drawing level.
BTW what are the section view settings? For .e.g. "Partial Section"
This is an enhancement for the top ten list for SW2013 shown at SolidWorks World 2012.
But in your case make sure all the sketches and reference geometries are set to hide to get the section boundary to minimized size.
Thanks for the info on the enhancement for 2013.
Could you please explain what you mean by hiding all sketch and reference geometry.
How can I quickly hide all these?
Thanks for that. Yes my view setting is at partial section.
I have just had a look at some of the what's new for 2013.
Some sites state that the CoG can be added to show in the drawings.
Some make no mention of this do you now if this will be available in 2013.
I have been asking for this ability for years.
Here is the announced list: http://www.fcsuper.com/swblog/?p=3317
And this was "Mass properties should include the option to automatically put a point at the center of gravity" number 2 on top ten list for SW2013.
Crop view works for me.
I take it you mean using crop view instead of a section view.
I will at this when i am back in at work on Monday.
Thanks for the info regarding using Crop view, this works ok.
