Hi, Am new to Routing in SW. I need to know how routing in model helps in real assembly?is that just to give how connection been given or something more?
The shop floor or poeple in the field can use the 3d model itself to get the required details which sometimes is not clear by a 2d drawings. For e.g. you can send an e-drawing of the complete model and they can simply rotate/move and see all the details.
You can easily find out the required space around the routes, best/optimum layout of the routes and many other similar things. So it is much more than just simply presentation.
Thank you sir,
I have few more Questions,
How the manufacturing facility make use of the solid models created by modeller?
In what all areas, does the solid model help?
Why the decals(pictures),Routing should be shown on the model? How it helps?
fine, But what about the decals or stickers on the model?
I think thats for understanding positions and asthetic look.///
Not only aesthetic but yes position/location too. And basically a complete 3d assembly can give them a feel of the actual plant.
