I'm new to PDM, but I have read a lot about it and its getting me quite excited. At my small company, I am the head of engineering. Here is the workflow process.
I design model -> my drafter makes drawings -> drawings get approved by general manager -> drawings get approved by president -> drawings get transferred to purchasing -> prints get released to shop. All the transferring of prints in the form of paper has become a process nightmare.
I'm wondering where I go and how to set up the stock pdm that came with our software. Also I'm woundering what I can automate, and the most useful functions. Any help would be greatly appriceated.
