The title speaks for it self. My assembly got deleted after a save command failed.....:(
Now have to start all over again....or?????
Has anyone seen this in SW 2012 SP2 64bit WinXP??
Sorry to hear about the recent death of your assembly. That's gotta suck. I'm using this same configuration at work and can't say I've ever seen it happen. Have you checked out your backup directories etc. for any other copies of the file?
Unfortunatly I turned off backups
I too have a similar problem after I installed SP02 for 2012. See my profile for my system info. Last Thursday I had completed an Assembly model and its corresponding drawing including several sheets. The drawings were turned into PDF’s and check documents were released. Later the same day (3-8-2012) before leaving for the day I upgraded our two work stations to SP02. For a week I did not see any problems, even seemed to be more stable. But unfortunately when I came back to this model and drawing set to complete the sign off procedures I could not open the assembly model or drawing. Needless to say I’ve exhausted every means of restoring to no avail.
Last resort and what pinned pointed the problem as SP02 is that I am able to open as normal the same files on a machine that still has the SP00 on it. I’m at a loss as to why this occurred, when every separate part files and its drawing open fine on my SP02 machine. For now it seems to be only this assembly file.
