I have a folder for the project and diff. folders for standard parts, reused parts etc
When I use PackNGo, all parts/assemblies are saved in the same destination folder in the "save to folder" column. Is there a way to automatically save parts/assemblies in diff. destination folders? Its really time-consumming to manually to change diff. folders in the "save to folder" column

Did anyone get anywhere with a solution/macro to this ? I have exactly the same structure. assy with parts from multiple folders. making a local copy for my laptop & remote working then updating back to the server is a data management nightmare.
i'm not even going add collaboration and multiple workers to the equation....yet.
also, please, no mention of PDM!
Use Nested View option and un-check the option "Flatten to single folder". Now continue with pack and Go. Check if this fix your issue.
No, this doesn't solve the problem. Maybe i can explain a bit clearer, my problem is that pack and go uses absolute folder paths, rather than relative folder paths. On my laptop i can create the same relative folder structure as our work server, but not the same absolute folder structure as our server. It means everytime you do a pack and go you have to manually edit (and/or use select and replace) the destination path names.
An option to use relative folder paths is really what i'm looking for. Perhaps i should submit an enhancement request.
Did you tried un-checking the option "Flatten to single folder" or using "Select/Replace" option to change the folder paths more quickly.
Other than this, the only option might be macro.
