Hi all,

I am trying to put a path mate in the attached assy file such that the part called ''stock'' can only move within the slot at the bottom of the part called ''big stock''.... (They are in SW 12 if you should know before you try to open them)

So I drew a line on the front plane of big stock...and a point in the center of stock at a plane 9.5 inches offset from the front plane of stock. Then I created a path mate between the two in my assembly. However, as you should be able to observe, the point in the mate can move beyond either side of the endpoints of the line in the mate.

How can I limit the movement of this point to stay within that line?
