Performance Benchmark files?

Hi folks,

I'm having a bit of an issue with trying to compare different machines using the benchmark in SW RX.. Our machines are running Windows 7 with roaming profiles on a pretty sluggish network.

When you run the benchmark it creates a folder called 'SW Log Files' within your User folder (I'm still used to calling this 'Documents and Settings' from XP days), which for us, is over the network and gives some fairly poor I/O results.

If I cut and paste this folder onto the C drive of the machine I want to run the test on, and open the files from there so they're in the memory, upon running the test, the folder is recreated over the network.

Does anyone know of a way to redirect the test?

My alternative is to temporarily 'unmap' the drive used for the roaming profile (I'm told by our IT dept that this causes problems elsewhere?), or to borrow a licence and run the test whilst the machine is offline?

Anyone offer any alternatives?
