    Solidworks\EPDM Scheduler

We have a problem which seems to be quite common within Solidworks where the part details arent replicated within eDrawings unless the files are opened rebuilt and then closed again. Does anyone know if there is a mechanism to schedule\automate this? I realise it would need to sit or the task pointed to a PC with Solidworks installed and what I was thinking is to take advantage of the multiple RDP sessions unlock within Windows there for the users wouldnt be aware it was going on in the background.

Is there some dort of function to get this going?

We don't use eDrawings so I don't have this problem, but I would think you could place an add-in that would do what you want in a transition.  This way you would make the change in the model and check it in.  Then you would change the state.  That transition would trigger the add-in to checkout the eDrawing that is referenced to the model, open it up, and then check it back in.
