I could see myself using the functionality in this situation. We have two other users using SolidWorks. Before their work (production drawings) is released to manufacturing I have the wonderful task of checking over the drawings and making sure they are correct. Part of the check is making sure the drawing adheres to company standards and procedures. We use various templates which help with this but you can't control everything a user is going to do while working in the software. The Design Checker may be a way for me to run a quick check on the documents making sure the user is following the company stards and procedures. It obviously can't check everything I need (the actual design intent) but it can quickly alert me to areas of the drawing I need to investigate.

I've tried this in a few test runs but have not actually made it part of my review process.

Hello-

I just took a look at this new Feature. I don't see why I'd want to use this Feature. All of the parameters that are checked are defined in Templates, so all my documents don't need to be checked. Documents from outside sources? I don't see the need to use this Feature to check any of these parameters in documents from others.

Documents from others? I look at them, takes less than a minute or so. If I find something, I change it.
