Anybody have a 2012 solidworks essentials class book they would be willing to part with? Thanks much also would be interested in Assembly, Surface, and mold and core books.
$400 per book would be nice to help pay for the class I took
might find someone with older versions on 2010 or 11 that might give away, most people hold onto them to help train new users.
mail me the book. the check is in the mail.
That's cheap. Did you see this discussion?
Yes i did. I have that book, but i did not pay $4000 dollars for it. I'll sell it for that much though
HAHAHAHA! Yeah SW has always tightly controlled access to those books. The only way i know of to get one is to take the class(es). Like Lenny said most folks hold onto them. I still have all of mine from SW 2001 courses.
2001? Do you shake your monitor to clear screen back then?
HAHAHA! No. Fred Flinstone came over and wiped the slate clean, literally.
I've taken all those classes except Mold Design
enroll me in the class and pay for it and I'll be happy to give you the book after the class is over
If Lenny is selling his 2012 for $400, I'll take $200 each for my 2009 books
So what do I get for my 2001 books?
I'l take $100 for my 2003 Essentials, Drawings, And Sheet Metalt books
hey, If I'm gonna make it to SWW one of these years, can't give 'em away for free
Suprisingly I have never made it to SWW either. Next year is the year though, if its in Orlando. I'm only an hour away so I can drive over.
you have all been a huge help. Thanks
Man one SMART A$$ remark and look what it starts
I worked for the VAR in Phoenix and it cost us more than $300 a set in bulk because the of printing cost in color and the heavier paper they use and that was in 2004. so the $1200 you pay to take the course a 1\3 of it is the cost of the books.
At $300, why not just put electronic versions on iPads or Android tablets and give those to students instead!
it's a hell of alot easier to write notes in the book and highlight things than on a tablet...bigger too!
also then everyone would have access to them. go to SDC Publications, you can get some of their book thru google ebooks for around $40 bucks some of the SW books are just like the ones from SW with step by step...
add secoundly SW won't do it because it's their VAR's training stuff!
