Hi,

I am using Solidworks 2011. I am trying to get the intersection point of axis and surface facing the front as shown in the picture below. Once I get the intersection, my main aim is to create a 3Dsketchpoint at that point and find the coordinates.

Currently, I have to created a 3D sketch point first, then reference it accordingly. I would like to know if it is possible to create a 3D sketch point that is able to snap at the intersection.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
