Screen Lock after 7 hours

Last year after working with support we learned that everyone is having a problem with the simulation status window locking after a few hours of running. Once this happens there is no way of knowing how the study is progressing. I am running a Transient Thermal Analysis which at this point has been running for almost 60 hours.

What I was told last year is that while watching the resource meter, if the load for hstar.exe keeps changing hstar is still running.

It sure seems like someone would see the need to fix this bug. We should have some way to check the status of a simulation run.

Has anyone else found a work-around?
