I have a problem, after fixing a length of a flex tube, I want to display that in the BOM, and it doesn't show the fixed length I have set
I think this is happening because of the 'Additional internal wire length' defined in the CPoint for each connector in your library. This should only happen when you have defined wires inside the route (then the cutting length is displayed), otherwise the 'SWRouteLength' property displays the routed length (i.e. the fixed length).
The only way I can think of geting read of the problem is if you open each connector > edit the CPoint and set 'Additional internal wire length' to 0. In this case it will show you the routed length and not the cutting length.
You can also notice the diference between the two by > 'Edit Route' > 'Edit Wires' > select any wire in the Property Manager > and scroll down > click 'More Properties'
Thank you for your reply
I am not using wires
I use flex tubes, in the fitting the have always 0 additional length, so I am not sure that this is the problem
I think this is because a fixed length does not really have a cut length. I would add the length to the description of the tube in the properties of that fixed length tube assembly if that fits in your companies standard practices. I can give you further details on how to do this if it is an acceptable method for you.
