I hope you all had a great SWWorld 2012 in San Diego, I certainly did! I'm sure I'm not the only one who noticed the UP! 3D Printers buzzing away in the Partner Pavilion with an attractive show special price. I'd love to have one on my desktop, but after researching the market, there seems to be quite an array of these mini 3D printers.
I'd be willing to bet that some folks here have already gotten into this desktop 3D printer arena and could hopefully provide some useful feedback to all of us sitting on the fence, wondering which one is best? If anyone can provide opinions and/or experience with any of these machines, it would helpful to me and a good resource for others as well.
Machines out there include MakerBot, RepRap, UP!, Ultimaker, Cubify, and I'm sure there are more.
Thanks in advance, and I look forward to seeing everyone in Orlando next year!
