    Altered calloutformat.txt chn'g in 2012

    Tim Dunbar

I altered our company's hole callout text file, basically I added the fastner size <hw-fstsze> and sometimes type <hw-fsttyp> to the prefix of the callout.  That would give me a fractional number for for the screw size or in the case of a plain hole it would give me my drill size.  In the case of the counterbore or sunk holes this still works fine. On my plain holes callout, instead of giving me the drill size i used to create the hole, it's now giving me the decimal equivalent.

Here is an altered counterbore callout

      COUNTERBORE-BLIND=C'BORE FOR <hw-fstsze>;\

           <hw-fsttyp>;\

           <MOD-DIAM> <hw-diam> <HOLE-DEPTH> <hw-depth>;\

                                                    <HOLE-SPOT><MOD-DIAM> <hw-cbdia> <HOLE-DEPTH> <hw-cbdepth>

Here is an altered plain hole callout

      HOLE-BLIND=;<hw-fstsze> DRILL;\

         <MOD-DIAM> <hw-diam> <HOLE-DEPTH> <hw-depth>

How the hole is called out now

So if anyone can help me out on why this changed, maybe I just need a new callout for my <hw-fstsze> in my plain hole callout that will give my my drill size.

I included my callout file if anyone wants to try changing something.
