Dear Friends

Solidworks 2008

Sub Assy. current configuration display in the Main Assembly

I have 2 Assembles namely `S' and `M' and `S' is inserted inside the `M'. So we call `S' as Sub Assembly and `M' as main assembly. Now `S' has two configurations namely `Default' and `modified'.

If i opened and saved the `S' with `modified' configuration and closed it. Then i opened the `M' means inside `M' `S' should be displayed with `modified' Configuration. But `S' is displayed inside `M' with `Default' Configuration.

I can change this using inside `M' main assembly, select `S' sub assy. in Feature Manager design tree, Right Click > Component Properties > `Configuration Specific Properties' area `Referenced Configuration' configuration selection sub area - here i have to change from `Default' to `modified'.

Each and every i have to change this, also this is no relation with Inside `S' Sub Assy. Configuration changing.

If there any facility / options to change the `S' Sub Assy. Configuration inside `M' main assy. by Inside `S' Sub Assy. Configuraion

thanks in advance
