I'm testing the default workflow in the EPDM.
I added two folders with drawings in it.
In the workflow i configured the folders with seperate owners (users).
- with some drawings i changed the state to: Approved.
- other drawings changed to: Waiting for approval.
Normally the owners should be notified. How is this done?
I should think by messages, and saw it's default configured as 'Database'.
How is this done? Where are the users notified?
Comes it the mailbox (e-mail) at the owner user? Should I configure it as SMTP?
You have two choices to choose the messages to send to users.
1) Database Messaging,
2) SMTP (For which, the email id should be entered in the user's data)
to enable notifications, Click on the yellow color icon on the transisiton, which will allow you to choose the users.
