Hello,

I'm wokring on water tanks right now.

I'm trying to make a base file to use it after, to reduce part building time.

I started with equations and exernal file for it.

All variables i'm using are simple. (lot of them, but simple)

I'm using sheet metal to start main body, unfold it to make holes for nozzles and fold it back.

In each tank i use couple types of nozzles

2"-12"

I want to each new tank enter :

Diameter

Height

Nozle type for each nole and X,Y position

After i tried some different techniques i found that it's almost impossible for solidworks to hande that job.

For sure that might be my mistake. But as a very expirienced user i found this one not applicable for my needs.

In feature statistics i see that rebuild time is less than a sec, but for real it takes 1-3 minutes to change something.

Even start new sketch is painfully slow.

Any suggestions?

Here my file and txt file of variables and equations.

Thanks a lot
