I need to put the number 5 recycle symbol on a drawing, anyone know how I do this?
Are you looking for it to be in your drawing or a part?
Either way just draw it up and save it as either a design library part in the model
or a symbol block in the drawing.
Here is a site that has the symbol in model form that would once placed on the model
would showup in the drawing when you place your views.
There is a Unicode, U+2677, but I don't know how to make it work.
That looks like a programming code. Did you look at the symbol in the link I provided in my last posting?
Yes, thanks; I will use that. I really wanted to just add it to the 2D drawing. I thought the Unicode is something you type the code in & get the symbols, kinda like the degree or diameter symbol.
When I researched that code there were a ton of codes and that is the impression I
got that it was a programming code. What you are talking about is like ± (alt 241)
type keystrokes. That unicode doesn't lend itself to this type of entry that I can see.
What I would do is look at the character command in your OS system under start>all programs>assecories>character map.
I haven't ever seen it but if there was a keystroke to do it it would be there.
It would be rather easy to download from 3DContent Central the appropriate symbol. Simply edit the sketch used to create the symbol and create a 2D block you could use in your drawings.
That's what I did, great stuff. Thanks all!
So this resolves your issue?
