There is some basic info that we could use before giving suggestions - Graphic card / driver being used, Version of SWorks being used, basics of computer specs. This sounds like a graphics card problem.
In my opinion it looks like a graphics card problem. But my hearing probably isn't what it used to be.
I would be making sure I had everything well saved if I saw that happening.
I didn't really include many more information because I am certain it's not graphic related.
I have an Nvidia Quadro fx 6000, with the latest SW tested driver.
running SW 2011, SP5, althought this problem already existed for us in previous versions of the software, and other pc configs.
When was the last time you did a clean uninstall and a clean install?.
Maybe of your intire machine and not just SW.
So here is the answer!
I found out that solidworks makes a bit of a mess if you are installing the sofware in the english version, but your windows regional settings are set up to any other language...Change this, and the buttons go crazy...simple but who knew!!
thanks all anyways
Never would have guessed that one.
Bizarre, but I am glad you got to the bottom of it. Thanks for sharing your results.
Thank you Simon for your discovery.. you are brilliant
Just a question: how long did it take?..
