Currently using SW 2011, SP5.0.

For years we have used AutoCAD and a CAD/CAM program to create our dies. We are moving out of the stone ages and looking to use SW to create the model to drop directly into our CNC and CMM equipment. Here is my situation:

I have a cylinder that is roughly 4"DIA x 6" LG. Trying to create various pockets in the outer surface, most shapes are oval- though we can get a little crazy with design for some customers. Anyway, I have tried Wrap and this is close but, not accurate enough. We create rows completely around the die while staggering the rows so we can squeeze as many pockets around as possible. The problem I have with Wrap is it doesn't allow for cuts to overlap- including removing the material from the die where there is extra material. The CNC rotates along the Z-axis while cutting so wall thicknesses and depths are equal.

Anyone with thoughts on how to make these cuts? I am at a loss... I have attached a very basic example. I cannot complete the next Wrap at .040" deep as it interferes. Thanks in advance for any help!
