how to create a million little STLs for an Objet Connex printer

I want to do a test part for an Objet Connex, which prints two materials at a time. As I understand it it, they need one STL file for each piece. I want to try a bunch of what would be overmolded text. I can take my part and slice off the letters, which creates a bunch of solid bodies. However, getting from there to an assembly with all the letters placed correctly, and then making the stls from the assembly, seems like a daunting task. I can make all the sldprt files when I split the original part, but I can't figure how to get them into an assembly except one by one.

Any hints for me?

Thanks

Dwight
