Cavity during gear mate rotation

I am working with two parts in an assembly that have a gear mate. One is a cylinder and the other has spherical protrusions. They are on two different axis and I want to use one to subract material from the other. I can use the cavity tool to do a static cut then rotate and take another but this will take forever to do the whole rotation. I really want to do a cut like the two parts were on a milling machine and both moving at the same time. Thanks, Mark
