I am wondering if I can save a solidworks part/assembly as an Autodesk part/assembly and vice versa? I know solidworks can save as into various files but I am unsure about Autodesk's capabilities. Any info would be great

Thanks for your help Deepak. I actually need to know if Solidworks is compatible with Autodesk Plant Design Suite? Forgot to put that bit in, sorry!
But I'm assuming that since Inventor & Plant Design are both from Autodesk it should still work. But assuming has gotten me into trouble before, so if you could shed some light on this I would be greatful!
I am going to guess.... Probably not. What are your expectations of what compatible means?
I just wanto be able to save my solidworks assembly/parts into a file that can be opened up in Autodesk Plant. After scouring the net I found some helpful info. Plant recognises IGES & Step files so I believe this can work.
