Here's the thing. I 'm working on an offset cone. I finish it and hit flatten and it totally deforms, (look at picture ,flat pattern), at this point I figure I did something wrong. Then I go and unfold it for the heck of it (see picture unfold), and it turns out exactly the way it should. Does it mean the flatten would be you jumping on it and flatten it, and maybe unfold means to actually lay the bend out so it unfolds properly. I have no idea what the difference is supposed to be.
